Beautiful Norway is a very long geographically but is a small populated country. It has a population of about 4.6 million people but the area of the land is of 385 square kilometers.
The majority of the land is very rocky and wild. This rocky wasteland as you can imagine cannot be used for agriculture. Norway has huge areas what is unpopulated what have been made into national parks. Even outside the national parks.
Norway is one of the richest countries in the world and the krone is a very strong currency. Most of the country’s revenue comes from the oil and gas industry in the North Sea. Unemployment is very low and there is always work for those who are willing to find it. Even unskilled workers are well paid.
Here they have very high taxes and the government does spend a great deal of money so we can have free health services, free schools and a welfare system second to none.
The weather in Beautiful Norway is warmer than what you would expect, but because of the Gulf Stream the summers are usually quite warm and pleasant. Where I live on the west coast, the climate is more like the west coast in Britain. My Norwegian friends say low temperatures and rain always come over the North Sea from the UK. I think they are only having me on though.

Tromsø – This City boasts of the northernmost university in the world and also has a magnificent, ultramodern cathedral.
Trondheim was once the capital of Norway, it is now famous for its beautiful cathedral (Nidarosdomen). Charming riverside wharfs, charming wooden buildings and also boasts of the best student nightlife in Norway.
