Golfing on Norways beautiful greens

Golfing during the past few years, has become a very popular sport in Norway.

Where I live, it is very flat agricultural country and farmers have found it quite profitable to turn their fields in to Greens and Courses. They usual employ Scottish experts to plan and build these beautiful greens.

Not far from the Stavanger airport is the very pleasant Sola club, which is right across the road from a popular winsurfing beach.

I believe the fees here are around 200 to 350 Norwegian kroner. It is very popular for people in the oil industry to play here, and as it is also near the Nato Base, so there are also many American members.

Tiger is not one of them ;-)

I 2007, Kvinesdal and Omegn Club was voted best by the readers of a popular magazine. They voted it the best club for several reasons.

The beautiful surroundings and a very fast green being two of them.
