Norway Spruce is a very nice tree which grows throughout Europe. It grows all over Norway and is closely related to the Siberian Spruce. Norwegian Spruce is one of the most widely planted of its kind, and has is used throughout Europe in paper production, and is also use for timber.

They are also used as ornamental trees in parks and large county house properties. It is widely planted and used in the production of Christmas trees.

To show their gratitude for aiding them during the Second World War, every Christmas, Norway sends one of these beautiful trees to London, Edinburgh, New York and Washington D.C. The trees are placed at the most central part of each city

The Norwegian Spruce tree is one of the fastest growing of spruce family, and as the tree gets older, the branches start to point upwards, Secondary branches always hang down from the main branches, this gives the tree a very elegant appearance.
