Mini skirt on Norwegian girls

Mini skirt or a very short skirt, looks best on young women, especially teenagers. I have heard people say that Norway is always very late in adopting the latest fashion trends. The Norwegian girls started wearing short skirts quite a long time after it became popular in the UK in the sixties.

Before we start saying that Norway is always behind the times regarding fashion, lets go way back to 1928 when a Norwegian figure skating champion, Sonja Henie, won gold medals in the winter Olympics three times in succession.

Ice skaters in the twenties always wore long skirts on the ice, until Sonja won these gold medals in figure skating wearing a short skirt!!! After that nearly all women figure skaters copied this fashion on the ice. Was this the birth of the mini? If so, then it was a Norwegian who started the fashion which became so popular 40 years later.

Short skirts are usually worn during the summer time, allowing you the girls to get almost a complete tan on their legs. Norwegians are sun lovers, and as soon as the sun appears, so do they. As a result, their beautiful blonde hair and brown complexions complimented the short skirt.

Many schools in the UK have dress codes regarding the length of skirts and will not allow the wearing of the very short skirt. There was nothing like this in Norway at the time of this fashion craze, so nearly all the girls attended school in the dress of her choice.

Having shapely legs and a slimm figure is essential to look attractive and of course food habits play a big part in the way a young girl presents herself. I remember growing up in the sixties and fish and chips was, and I presume still is, the teenagers favourite food. It was not very attractive to see the young girls wearing these very shorts skirts with layers of fat showing here and there.

Fat legs and a plump body does not look elegant in a Mini skirt, but the teenagers in Norway are not brought up on a diet of burgers and chips, and I must say, on the whole the young girls here have very good figures.

Men of all ages like to look at pretty girls and women wearing short skirts, but only if they are reasonably slim.Having said that, this is only my humble opinion; some men will probably disagree.
